Ive recently published an article examining the role of the GAA in the lives of the Irish Diaspora living in Europe. See this link if you wish to read it. It was published in the journal Sport in Society and also as a chapter in a collection entitled 'Emigrant Players: Sport and the Irish Diaspora' edited by Paul Darby and myself. Now I would like to continue research into this area by conducting more specialised examination of the GAA Irish in certain European countries. Could I ask you to read the article as it currently stands and let me know how, in your opinion, it could be developed or improved? More to the point I'd be keen to hear from anyone who knows the whereabouts of relevant articles, archives etc that are not addressed in this article but may be referred to in any subsequent work. Perhaps you'd let me know either through this forum or by contacting me directly.
