What do people think of the administration of Gaelic Games in the US by two bodies? I think that they should unite under one umbrella and pool their ideas together for the benefit of Gaelic Games in America...

Have to admit I don't know much about GAA in the States, haven't been to the sites. I know there are one of two impressive stadiums over there and a long history of playing the sports. Would like to know if Gaelic sports are on the increase over there.
Is there anyone playing over there who knows the scene? |

I played Gaelic football in Philadelphia the past summer. I am really looking to get in on some hurling action, but hurling clubs are more rare here in the States, unfortunately. I am just graduating college this May and as soon as I get a job, I will look for a hurling club in my area...which hopefully be the the New York City area. Which brings us back to the unification of the two leagues...I think its a hell of an idea. Yet, I believe NYGAA is in itself a county team, and thus, still part of the original GAA governing body. The NAGAA seems to be the US governing body for hurliing and Gaelic football. There's the intrinsic contradiction for ya.
